I am curently reading The Unwanted's by Lisa McMANN. I am on page 117. I would talk about his missing family. I would also talk about leaving the setting Artime to go back to Quill. If I were to give him advice I would say to be patient. He will be able to start his magical warrior training soon. I would ask him if he would leave Artime, because he is not feeling comfortable in the place.

The book that I just finished reading today was "Forge" and the author of the book is Laurie Halse Anderson. I fiinished the book today so I ended on the last page which was page 280. If I was having lunch with Curzon, I would probably ask him questions about his life in the war and as being a slave. I would also talk about my life compared to his. I would probably tell him about the different conditions and how the idea of slaves is now forbidden. I would also give him some advice. I would tell him to be a little bit more organized with his plans to escape with Isabel because it always seemed like he did not have an escape plan when his chance came to just go.

The Serpent's Shadow, the author is Rick Riordan. I am on page 35. I would talk about how are they gonna defeat Chaos because I want to know if they have a plan.I would tell them to look into the Duat because some said that in the book. I would ask when did you guys get some many recruits because they didn't have as many as before.

I just finished the book "Forge" By: Laurie Halse Anderson. If I was having lunch with Curzon I would talk about all the battles he has been to because I am very interested to talk to people who have been in actual battles/wars. The advice that I would give him would be that it doesn't matter what other people think about you, it matters what you think about yourself. I would give him this advice because throughout the book, Curzon is worried about slavery. The questions that I would ask him would be does he love Isabel as a "sister" or a crush. I would ask him this question because at the beginning at the book he said he loved her as a "sister" and towards the end he started having feeling for her.

I'm currently reading "Wereworld: Rise of the Wolf" book 1 of the series. The author of this mythical and magical book is Curtis Jobling. I'm currently only on page 41 since I just started it but I love it already. I'm not sure who the main character is but I believe it to be two people so far named Drew Ferran, and Whitley. (Who's last name is not yet revealed.) I'm sure though that if I had lunch with them we would talk about nature and it's creatures. I'd probably ask Drew though what it was like to change into a wolf creature and watch his mother die before that, and Whitley what it was like to have to ride a horse through such a deadly forest then become lost without his master slash mentor.

I am currently reading Wood Runners by Gary Paulsen. I am page 152. If I had lunch with Samuel, I would talk about how he is good at hunting and what this whole journey felt like. I wonder when he started to hunt. I would also ask what his reaction was when he found where his parents are located because it was a big priority for Samuel to find his parents and try to help them escape prison.

The book I am currently reading is "Chains" by: Lauren Halse Anderson. I am on page 295. If I were having lunch with Isabel I think that we would talk about her experience at the Lockton house and how she was able to move on from when her sister Ruth was sold. What advice I would give her is that times can be rough but we all get over them and look on the brighter side. What question I might ask Isabel is do you think you escape from the Lockton will be successful?

I am currently reading The Magician by Micheal Scott. I am on page 442. If I were to talk to the twins, Sophie and Josh, we would talk about anything that came to mind. Whether it be school or sports or whatever. The only bit of advice I think I would be able to give them is to never let the other twin out of your sight, because that's when all the bad stuff happens.I would probably ask them what it's like to be running around the world, while be chased by ancient, magical creatures, because it would seem hard to go from working in a book store/coffee shop then being whisked away by Nicholas Flamel and end up in Paris a day later.

I am reading Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson. I am currently on page 274. If I ever got to talk to Isabel I would try and talk about how she was able to keep feeding the prisoners. If I could give her some advise I would tell her to keep going on and things will get better. I would also ask her if she ever liked Madam once or did she just hate her the whole time because I wonder if there was a time if Madam was nice to her just because she wanted to thank Isabel for her work.

The book that I am currently reading right now is called 'Feather Boy' by Nicky Singer. The page that I am on is pg.14 Chp. 2. If I was having lunch with the main character I would talk about how is school going so far for you and your friends, from how the main character (name not yet found), Johnny Nicky and Catherine all have minor issues and secrets in the school. The advice that I would give to the main character is you're doing a good job of keeping your greatest feelings to yourself, although it would be a good idea to be more social with more of your classmates and teachers, other than being quiet to them. A question that I have for you is when you were talking about Norten Nobel (real name is Robert Nobel) was given that nickname Norten. Would that effect hhim and you and your friends.

I wouldn't have any advice for him because I don't fight aliens and such. I would also ask him where and when he got his powers to rip aliens in half, because I wanna rip aliens in half too!

I am reading the book Chains by, Laurie Halse Anderson. I am on page 182. If I were having lunch with Isabel I would help her make a plan so she can escape slavery and find Ruth. I would make a plan to help her escape slavery and find Ruth because Ruth was sold by Mrs. Lockton, Isabel's owner and Isabel needs to find her because Ruth is only 5 years old. Some advise I would give her is that she needs to be very careful of where she goes and how she gets places because their is a war going on in New York that Isabel does not want to get caught in the middle of, because if she does she would get sent back to Mrs. Lockton and punished. A question I would ask Isabel is what would she do if she doesn't find Ruth?

The book I just finished reading was Chains. It was my historical fiction book. Today, I started on page 300, and ended on page 315. Chains was a really interesting book, and it had lots of information on the Revolutionary War. The book was about a slave girl named Isabel, and her little sister named Ruth. The were sold to a family called the Locktons. The jitz of the book was about Isabel and Ruth trying to become free, when in the background, the Revolutionary War is going on.

The book that I was reading today in readers workshop is Chains, by Laurie Halse Anderson. I am on page 260. If I was eating lunch with Isabel, who is a slave girl, I would talk to her about her sister and how she is going to get her back. I would give Isabel the advice to be careful around Madam Lockton because Madam Lockton has killed a girl from beating her. I might ask Isabel what it is like being a slave because it must be so hard for her since she is sleep deprived because it is so cold but then she has to work really hard during the day.

Samuel met lots of people in his adventure to help find his family and at the end he did. He fought the hissenians and took his parents back if you like adventure and suspense you should get this book.

I am currently reading Doll In the Garden by Mary Downing Hahn. I am on page 6 because I just started yesterday. If I were to have lunch with the main character, so far I’d say that the main character should do something of that grumpy old lady because I can tell she’s going to blame you or something or just do stuff to you to get you in trouble. Right now, I would ask if she is really going to rent that little place she is in now or if she’d move.

The book I am currently reading is my historical fiction book. It is Woods Runner, and it is by Gary Paulsen. I am currently on page 151, which is very close to the end. If I were having a meeting with the main character, Samuel, I would have a lot to talk about. I would tell him that he has made very good choices, and that he has learned a lot of lessons. I think this BECAUSE Samuel has made very good decisions when he had to make one. For example, the most risky decision was whether or not he wanted to rescue his parents. He made his choice that he wanted to find them, and that was probably one of the best choices Samuel has ever made. Everything worked out, and in the end, he came back with his family, and a new sister. I would tell Samuel that he is a huge success, not a failure.

I am currently reading “Sophia’s War” by Alvi for history class. I am currently on page 238 and I am enjoying it. If I was having lunch with Sophia I would talk about how things are going with trying to tell the information about Benedict Arnold for committing treason. I would talk about this because so far everyone thinks she’s going mad and is not telling the truth about General Arnold even though she is trying to give as little information about him as possible and still save America. I would tell her to never stop trying because without her knowledge the war would be lost and Britain will rule. Also, a question I would ask is why are you not telling them directly that General Arnold is committing treason? I would ask because then maybe even if they don't believe her she can try to convince them instead of giving little clues.

I am currently reading All the Lovely Bad Ones , which is written by Mary Downing Hahn. I found this book when I saw Kate Pollina’s book wiki. So far, it is a great book. I am on page 150 and I am very close to finishing it. Mary Downing Hahn is a great author and she writes really creepy, mystery type books. If I was having lunch with Mary Downing Hahn, I would ask her how she got inspiration to write books, because mystery is my favorite genre. Most authors write realistic fiction, and the ones that write mysteries usually aren’t very good.

I'm reading the book Forge by Laurie Halse Anderson. I am currently on page 217. The main character in this book is named Curzon. If I were to have lunch with Curzon, I would ask him what it feels like to be a slave. If it scary, easy, hard or frustrating? He is forced to work as a slave so it must be pretty frustrating. The advice I would provide to him would be to be a little clever. He needs to think of a devious plan to try and escape. He also needs to plan this in a place where no one else will be able to hear him. The last plan he made was reported to his master by one of the other slaves. He needs to be careful, but at the same time not afraid to take risks. Another piece of advice I would give him is to friend Isabel. It would be easier to escape together instead of alone. Overall, I think Curzon is very close to devising a plan to escape!

During reader's workshop, I was reading Forge by Laurie Halse Anderson. I finished the book during reader's workshop after about 20 minutes. If I was having lunch with the main character, I would ask the main character, Curzon, how hard it was to not retaliate when Bellingham whipped him, or physically abused him. I would give the advice of now talking to Isabel when Bellingham is around, and I would tell him not to even look at her when he is around. I would tell him this because Bellingham said that he is going to whip Isabel when Curzon does something wrong, so I would ignore Isabel and stop retaliating when Bellingham is around and when he physically hurts Curzon.

I am currently reading The Hunt for the Seventh by Christine Morton-Shaw. I am now on page forty-one. If I was having lunch with the main character, Jim, we would definitely talk about the Minerva kids, the ghosts he has been seeing, Einstein, and about what he knows about the seventh. It would be very important that we would discuss all the extraordinary events that have been happening. I would advise Jim to not freak out next time he encounters another ghost because he could extract some vital information from the ghost about the seventh or what is going on. I would ask Jim about his relationship with Sal. I think it would be helpful if he could get along with her because he could tell her about the situation he is in and get some valuable insight or advice. Sal could also help out a lot with the problem because she seems to get along with people and that may seem to be a key when talking to Einstein or the ghosts.

If I were having lunch with Sam, I would tell him that the Titanic will sink and he should warn everybody about it and save the ship. I would ask how does it feel to be a slave and servant to a really mean person, and I would give him the advice to keep trying to escape with Isabella. I would say this because he has tried to escape many, many times and has failed a lot. He has to keep fighting for her freedom if he wants to get it. Another question I would ask him is what is his emotions during the course of his life. For example, I would ask her questions about what it's like being a slave and what her emotions are because you can never really understand someone unless you walk in their shoes. I would ask her if she is planning to go after Ruth and help the both of them and become free. Some other things we might talk about are what it felt like to have the letter "I" branded on her face. Did it hurt? How much? Will you continue going to the prison and feed the rebels, including Curzon? What are your feelings towards him? Our conversation would most likely be me asking her questions at a million miles per hour because I already have so many question about the book, which makes me want to read the sequel. I am not done reading the book yet, so I do not know if Curzon will get along with Isabel, but if they didn't then I would give him some advice of getting Isabel to like him, but also how to stand up for himself and not be treated with disrespect as being a slave, and to tell him that was is hard, so to not give up.

I would ask the him how was he feeling when he was getting doubted and also when he was the youngest in the army and how did it feel not being trained for the war and know nothing about. also the best question is why didn't he shoot the german soldier when he had to. I was thinking that he could die at a young age during the beginning and at the end!

My favorite word was when the german soldiers had them and were speaking german to them and they did not understand what they were saying and then the germans got mad and then at the end a german said “The americans are coming let them go” that was the best I liked because it was the end and they were getting scared so they let them go.

I am reading the book Woods Runner by Gary Paulsen. The main character is Samuel and I like him because when his parents get captured he goes back to get them. I just finished Woods Runner and if I had lunch with main character I would ask him what skills in the woods do you have? I would ask him this because he showed many woods skills in this book and I would want to see if he has anymore. Some advice I would give him is don't shoot into a pack of people or animals.

The book I am currently reading (due to the fact the movie is premiering tonight ;) is Catching Fire. The author of this phenomenal book is Miss Suzanne Collins. Since I had started it last night, I finished it in class. If I had lunch with Katniss Everdeen, I would ask her if she wanted to ever shout out to the Gamemaker and President Snow, during the games, and yell profanities at them. Would she have ever fallen in love with Peeta if not for the Games? I would ask these questions because seeing her answers to these would release and emote many deep thoughts and feelings. I would also find out more about her character, and that would be an amazing opportunity.

I am currently reading The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. I am on page 229. If I had lunch with the main character I would talk about how he is so amazing and that I love his hair. On the other hand, I would also talk about how his quest is going and how brave he is. Some advice that I would give Percy, is to just be brave and take risks. I think that in order to complete such a quest like he is, you have to take some risks. I would ask him how is he so brave, what was it like fighting monsters, what do monsters smell like, and many more questions. I would ask these because I could never do these things myself and I am just curious.

The book that I am reading is "How They Croaked". How They Croaked is written by Georgia Bragg. So far I am only on page 13. In the book there is really no main character so out of the 2 characters that I have read about I would want to have lunch with King Tut. If I was having lunch with the main character I would talk about how it must of felt to be the king of Egypt when you were so young. Some advice that I would give him would be not to just think about yourself but to also think about the people that you rule over. I would also tell him to let the people decide what they want every once in a while. I would give King Tut this advice because he was a ruler at such a young age so he may not of been taught to think of others yet. Some questions that I might ask King Tut would be what was it like to be a king at such a young age? I would also ask him What was it like to have all of Egypt in the palm of your hands? I would ask these questions because I think that it would be astonishing for me to be the ruler of anywhere when I was that young.

I am reading the book Chains by Lauire Halse Anderson. The main character in this book is Isabel/Sal and I'm on page 265. If I had lunch with this character I would ask her how hard it was and what time did she get up in the mornings and of she was ever tired and didn't want to get water. I would also ask her if she would like Lady Seymour as a master instead of Madam Lockton because it seems like she likes Lady Seymour better and that she treats Isabel better. The advice that I would give her would be to get up earlier in the mornings to fetch water and go to prison with food scraps for Curzon because then Madam could not couldn't catch her sneaking out.

I would give her advice to be more stealthy and quiet or unnoticeable. I would also talk to her about her sister Ruth and if she is trying to escape to find Ruth. I would also talk to her about Curzon and what she thinks of him. I am reading thee book Forge by Lorie Halse Anderson, and I am almost done. I think that it was a pretty good book because it is about a boy that is trying to get through life in very tough conditions, and I think that, that kind of story is very interesting. It is not one of my favorite books but I didn't hate it. I would recommend this book to people who really like historical fiction and adventure an is interested in big wars. I am interested to see what happens in the end of this book because the entire book has been a good, and bad turn of events. I'm just waiting to see what comes next.

Today I read Sophia's War by Avi. I read 30 pages. Sophia got information for Mr. Townshend, which is extremely important, but Mr. Townshend is gone. General Arnold plans to sell West point to John Andre which would basically loose the war for them. Sophia travels 50 miles to Tellers' Point. She runs into a woman and a man named Bente and Johan and they plan to sail along the same river as Arnold's helper is coming to talk to John Andre about West Point. Sophia is determined to find and stop them. How? Sophia's not exactly suree, but she knows she has to, or it's over for the Americans. I think she's smart for going there, because she's the only one who knows and can stop them. I think she should come up with a plan quickly if she wants to stop them, she's running out of time.I would probably ask her if she remembers the name Tallmadge, who Mr. Townshend said he tells him the information he finds because he could be in Teller's Point and he could help.

This book is placed in the American Revolutionary War when the colonial men are fighting for freedom and rights. If I was at lunch with the main character, Isabelle I would talk about how she is a very strong person and she is willing to do anything for her family. She is a great role model and I think people can learn a lot from her life stories. She stands up for what she believes in. I think the author wrote this book to explain how life is for people who doesn't have the best life, but for the people who has the best dreams. Also maybe his parents got divorced and he wanted to play a sport but all that was stopping him but he kept going or he could be writing about his sister if he have or even a friend thats a girl that went thru this like parents getting divorced and the girl chasing after a dream . The why i think this is because people mostly write stories about lives but with different characters and the problems alittle different.
